Date/Time of Incident:   07-06-2020 at 9:31pm

 

Incident Description:  Fatal Vehicle Crash 

 

Location of Incident:   3000 Block of 195th Street West-Wells Twp. 

 

Victim Information: 

 

Joshua Curtis Holter, 20 years old, Faribault (Driver / Deceased)

 

Nolan Martin Warwick, 21 years old (Passenger, Non-Life Threatening)

 

 

Description of Incident:  On 07-06-2020 at 9:31pm the Rice County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to an injury vehicle crash in the 3000 Block of 195th Street W. just west of Faribault.  Upon arrival Deputies found a 2003 Volkswagen Jetta rolled over in the south ditch of 195th, west of Roberds Lake Blvd.  There had been two occupants in the vehicle.  The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and found to have been ejected from the vehicle during the crash.  Medical intervention was attempted by law enforcement.  Faribault Rescue and North Ambulance arrived on scene and took over medical care of the patient.  The male was pronounced deceased on scene at approximately 10:08pm. 

 

The passenger was transported and later released from District One Hospital with non-life threatening injuries and had been wearing his seatbelt.

 

The Rice County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by North Ambulance, North Air Care, Faribault Rescue, Minnesota State Patrol and the Faribault Police Department.  The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
