What to Bring to the Recycling Center

 

Junk Mail & Office Paper

  • White/pastel papers
  • Copy paper/letterhead
  • Envelopes with/without windows

Phone Books
  • Bring books to Rice County Recycling Center or place them into the recycling cart

Clean Used Clothing
  • Drapes or blankets accepted
  • No belts, shoes, purses, rubber, plastic, carpet, etc.
  • No leather shoes or belts
  • Place in bags or boxes

Magazines
  • Glossy magazines
  • Glossy catalogs

Cardboard
  • Cardboard should be flattened
  • Cereal, detergent or shoe boxes
  • Clean and dry

 

All of the items listed above (with the exception of used clothing) can also be placed into your household recycling cart for pick-up by your current waste hauler.
