PUBLIC ACCURACY TEST OF THE ELECTRONIC VOTING EQUIPMENT
A public test of the electronic voting equipment to be used in Rice County for the Primary Election on August 9, 2016, has been scheduled as follows:
 
DS200 Precinct Ballot Scanner:  July 28th, 2016 at 9:00 a.m.
M100 Precinct Ballot Scanners & Automark Assistive Voting Devices:  August 4th, 2016 at 9:00 a.m.
 
Both tests will be held in the Commissioner’s Board Room, at the Rice County Government Services Bldg., located at 320 3rd Street N.W. Faribault, MN 55021. The public accuracy test is for all governmental jurisdictions in Rice County. It is open to representatives of the political parties, the candidates, the press, and to the public.
 
A demonstration of the DS200 Precinct Ballot Scanner being used to tabulate absentee ballots in Rice County will be available during regular business hours 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., at the Auditor/Treasurer’s Office located in the Rice County Government Services Building.
