Notice of Opening of County Highway 1 (Millersburg Boulevard)

The Rice County Highway Department will officially open the segment of County State Aid Highway (CSAH) No. 1 (Millersburg  Boulevard) from CSAH 46 (Bagley Avenue) west thru Millersburg to CSAH 9 (Echo Avenue) on November 1st.    It is anticipated that detour signs will be removed and the road will be open to thru traffic at approximately 1:00 p.m.

Rud Excavation of Webster, MN was the prime contractor on this 3.7 mile, $ 5.1 million reconstruction project that included the construction of the roundabout at the intersection of CSAH 1 and CSAH 46.

Motorists are cautioned to be alert for ongoing final clean-up work and to obey all posted speed limit zones.
