Home Health Care

 

The Rice County Public Health Nursing Service maintains a Medicare certified, Minnesota Department of Health licensed, home health care agency. Rice County Public Health provides Public Health Nursing, Home Health Aide, and Physical/Occupational/Speech Therapy services throughout Rice County for eligible clients.

Services are provided Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on weekends, holidays, and alternate times by arrangement. Home health care services are provided on a per visit basis to sick and disabled persons of all ages and within the limits of available staff resources.

Rice County accepts Medicare, Medicaid, and other third party insurances and offers a sliding fee scale for persons without another reimbursement source. Services are not denied because of inability to pay.
