Department Overview

The Rice County Human Resources Department is responsible for employee services including: compensation, recruitment, selection, labor relations, employee benefit programs, termination, personnel policies and procedures, federal and state employment laws, worker's compensation, safety program, unemployment, and training.

Within the community, the Human Resources Department is responsible for communicating official policies and other personnel information to the staff, media, and general public. The department also recruits from within the community.
