One of the best ways to spend more time with family and friends is camping. Enjoy a quick get-away or even a week-long vacation at Rice County’s newly remodeled campground.

McCullough Campground contains 30 Camp Sites (20 water/electric and 10 non-water/non-electric), Modern Toilet/Shower Facilities, RV Dump Station, Picnic Shelter, Wi-Fi Internet Access, Adjacent DNR Boat Access to Shields Lake, and much more.

Enjoy and Explore the many unique features of the park, including: Heron Island Bird Sanctuary - a 6-acre bird sanctuary purchased by Rice County “For the Birds”, scenic bluffs, beautiful overlooks, natural trails, and 750-feet of shoreline on Shields Lake (the start of the Cannon River).

Terms & Conditions
Cancellation and Refunds
If you need to cancel your campsite reservation, you must contact Rice County at least one week prior to your scheduled check in time to receive a refund less your reservation fee. To seek a refund, call Rice County at 507-333-3720 or email RCCamping@co.rice.mn.us. Please provide the name on the reservation and the dates of the reservation.

In the event you fail to provide at least one week notice, you will not be entitled to a refund.
All refunds are issued to the same card used for payment. We do not issue cash refunds.
