LIVING WELL WITH CHRONIC CONDITIONS CLASSES STARTING SOON IN FARIBAULT
SIGN-UP DEADLINE JULY 16TH!

Rice County Public Health and Milestone Senior Living are teaming up to offer the Living Well with Chronic Conditions workshop series in Faribault for interested community members. These evidence based classes help people with chronic conditions live healthier and fuller lives. The six week workshop series helps people feel better, be in control, and do the things they want to do.

Together with other attendees, class participants will learn and practice ways to improve how they take care of themselves and enjoy life. Discussion areas include: self-management skills, practical ways to cope with pain and fatigue, better nutrition and exercise choices, new treatment options, and methods for speaking with a health care provider or family member about health.

Participants meet for 2 ½ hours once a week for six weeks. Classes begin Tuesday, July 17th, and will be held July 17th – August 21st, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Milestone Senior Living, 2500 14th St NE, Faribault, MN 55021.

These grant funded classes are open to the public at no cost, however pre-registration is required by Monday, July 16th.
