Living Well with Chronic Conditions Classes Starting Soon in Faribault

Rice County Public Health and Cardinal Pointe of Faribault are teaming up to offer “Living Well with Chronic Conditions” for interested community members. This evidence-based six week program helps people with chronic conditions live healthier and fuller lives.

Class participants will learn and practice ways to improve how they take care of themselves and enjoy life. Discussion areas include self-management skills, practical ways to cope with pain and fatigue, better nutrition and exercise choices, new treatment options, and methods for speaking with a health care provider or family member about health.

Participants meet for 2 ½ hours, once a week for six weeks. Classes begin Thursday, May 23rd and will be held every Thursday, through June 27th, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Cardinal Pointe of Faribault, 500 3rd Ave NW, Faribault.

There is no cost to participate and the workshop is open to the public, however pre-registration is required by Wednesday, May 22nd. Please call Jennifer at Rice County Public Health to register: (507) 332-6111.
